Thank You For All You Do

Author: Charlie Cook   |   June 1st, 2012

Small business owners are under appreciated.

You spend more hours at work than the average person spends awake. You miss your kid’s and grandkid’s school functions, bypass beautiful days on the golf course with your buddies and rarely eat a home cooked meal between travel and meetings. Entrepreneurs Are The Key To A Healthy Small Business EconomyI’m sure that no one runs up to you daily and thanks you for your efforts, so that is what I would like to do today – say thank you.

Thank you for creating jobs and putting people to work. In this economy, that quality alone deserves much more than a thanks. It deserves a medal! No doubt that without small business owners like you, the future of the economy would be grim.

On a large scale you save communities. And on a smaller scale you save families. There is nothing more noble. With family members who both run small businesses and work for small businesses, I have great respect for you – and what you do that is so much more than ‘business as usual’.

Thank you for working tirelessly to make my life and your consumer’s lives easier and better. It is hard for the average person to realize all of the time and effort that goes into taking a product or concept from idea to fruition.

You are spread so thin with all of the responsibilities of small business ownership: sales, marketing, product orders and supplies and let’s not forget all the pressures you get from Uncle Sam. Then you go home with little energy for what truly matters in life – quality time with family and friends.

Without someone like you with the determination and strength, it would never happen.

So, thank you for all that you have done and all that you continue to do to make the world a better place. It does not go unnoticed.
