What I mean by everyone, is everyone, from the owner to the managers, down to the front line employees.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">A personal friend of mine who at the time was the vice-president of a construction company,\u00a0(He now is the president of his own construction company) made it a point to order all of his truck\u00a0drivers business cards. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">When he was questioned on this action by the\u00a0president of the company, he explained how much contact each of these men had with clients at\u00a0the job site and that they were representing the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marketingforsuccess.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/customer-service-strategies.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-4292\" title=\"customer service strategies\" src=\"https:\/\/www.marketingforsuccess.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/customer-service-strategies.jpg\" alt=\"customer service strategies\" width=\"150\" height=\"118\" \/><\/a>company and many times influenced the client to\u00a0buy more of the services from this construction company. The owner of the company thought for a moment and then agreed\u00a0that business cards for the truck drivers\u00a0were an excellent investment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">One of the best customer service strategies to help everyone in your company do a better job of serving your clients is to make sure they have\u00a0their own\u00a0business cards (not the kind they have to write their name on). What I mean by everyone, is everyone, from the owner to the managers, down to the front line employees.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>The purpose of a business card is three-fold.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>First<\/strong> it states that you as a business owner really believe that the employee or manager who has the card is really capable of helping your clients get\u00a0what they need and want.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Second<\/strong>, it gives the employee or manager a good reputation to live up to. It says to them, \u201chey, you\u00a0are a person that is important and very much capable of assisting the company increase the\u00a0service and or the product sales \u00a0to all present and future clients\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>And third<\/strong>, it communicates to the client that this person who has just given them their card is\u00a0accountable and responsible for <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">making sure the client gets what they pay for<\/span>.
