Look, there&#8217;s a manufacturing fault just under the heel.&#8221;<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8220;I&#8217;m sorry, sir, but our company&#8217;s policy is to send shoes back to the supplier and see what they say.&#8221;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.marketingforsuccess.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/management-tips.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-4659\" title=\"management tips\" src=\"https:\/\/www.marketingforsuccess.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/management-tips.jpg\" alt=\"management tips\" width=\"150\" height=\"84\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8220;You mean, I won&#8217;t get a replacement?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8220;Not until we hear from the supplier.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8220;How long will that be?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8220;Well, maybe 10 or 14 days&#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8220;But I&#8217;m in a race this weekend&#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8220;I&#8217;m sorry, sir. That&#8217;s the best I can do&#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In the second shop, the conversation went something like this.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8220;It&#8217;s ridiculous to pay all that when he&#8217;ll probably have outgrown them by the end of the season.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8220;I agree,&#8221; Eric replied, as he fastened the boot around the youngster&#8217;s left foot. &#8220;It does seem crazy to spend so much, when, as you say, he may only get a season out of them. Would you like me to show you something less expensive?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8220;Well, it depends on the quality,&#8221; replied the anxious mother.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">&#8220;I know what you mean,&#8221; Eric answered. &#8220;The quality&#8217;s OK in the other boot. My worry would be more around width.
