I had a meeting the other day with a painter who has a Number One Listing on Google and gets a whopping 6,000 visitors a month to his site. When I asked him what happens to the visitors who come to the site, he simply shrugged his shoulders.<\/p>\n

Does this ring a bell? Do you know what happens when prospects come to your site?\"Business<\/a>Let\u2019s imagine you have everything in place.<\/p>\n

You have created a great website that is clean, simple, professional and content-rich. You have optimized your website and it comes up number one in your category on Google. You are driving tons of traffic to your site through your Google ranking, social media and mobile marketing.<\/p>\n

But what happens when they get there? Do you have a system in place to capture the names of your visitors? Do you have a clear call-to-action? Do you know how long they stay on your site and which pages they spend the most time on?<\/p>\n

When people arrive at your site, make sure it is easy for them to request information or contact you. You should minimally have the following:<\/p>\n

\u2022\tA subscription box where people leave their name, email and mobile number in exchange for a free report, video or podcast. Continue to follow up with these people on a weekly basis with great content and the occasional offer. Do not hit them over the head with hard sell.<\/p>\n

\u2022\tYour phone number should be on the top right hand side of the page. And if and when they call, make sure whoever is answering the phone has the correct follow-up information<\/p>\n

\u2022\tAn email contact form so that people can clarify a question or simply ask for more information. Make sure these emails are responded to immediately.<\/p>\n

Any time a prospect contacts you, try to make sure you respond to them within 24 hours if not sooner. Quick follow-ups will dramatically increase your sales conversions.<\/p>\n

Keep doing these little things and you’ll see start to see your visitors converting into paying customers \u00a0– and it’s easier than you think.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
