If you don\u2019t know who I\u2019m talking about yet, I\u2019m referring to hurricane Irene who was definitely uninvited and a big pain.<\/p>\nThis weekend we had an unwanted visitor \u2013\u00a0a loud-spoken woman, a regular windbag, if you will \u2013 and she scared the living daylights out of all the neighbors, not to mention most of the population of the east coast of the United States.<\/p>\n
And no matter what we tried, she wouldn\u2019t shut up Saturday night, keeping us all awake.If you don\u2019t know who I\u2019m talking about yet, I\u2019m referring to hurricane Irene who was definitely uninvited and a big pain.<\/p>\n
We were fortunate and had no damage to our home, though currently with the gas turned off and electricity out, we\u2019ve resorted to heating water on the grill for morning coffee.<\/p>\n
With all the wind \u2013\u00a0hot air from Irene \u2013\u00a0more than a lot of trees went down, along with the power for almost half of my home state of Connecticut. And, given the extent of the damage, it\u2019s not clear when we\u2019ll have it back on.<\/p>\n
But, while it\u2019s an inconvenience, my websites are still up and running, and people are still buying.<\/p>\n
