Are You Making This Mistake With Your Small Business Strategy?

This past Sunday, I was on my trimaran at the mooring putting the sails on my boat in anticipation of going out with my son and his friends.

In the harbor there was barely a breeze and it was hot. As the conscientious captain, (Captain Cook if you like) I picked up my cell phone to give my son a call to let him know not to bother.

Just as it started to ring I noticed he was motoring out in the launch.

Thanks to his youthful optimism, we headed out – and just as we did the wind picked up like magic.

We spent the next few pleasurable hours sailing over to Long Island and back (a few times).

Of course if you’re a sailor, staying tied to the mooring limits the fun you can have and the truth is you never know what the wind will do unless you give it a chance.
