Dave has been actively involved in search engine marketing and optimization since 1998. Before starting SEO.com, Dave was president and founder of Web Targeted, an online marketing consulting firm. Dave ran Web Targeted from 2003 until 2007 when SEO.com was formed.

Prior to Web Targeted, Dave was vice president of marketing at bMarketer, where he managed the marketing efforts for the performance-based online marketing company. Dave got his start in online marketing at Utah.com, where he worked as search engine optimization specialist and then director of sales and marketing.

Dave graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Marketing Communications.
