“Charlie, recently I bought your book, Creating Web Sites That Sell (link) and I’m ready to build my website. Do you have a web designer you’d recommend?” – Dave from Whitefish, MT
Every week I get requests from readers and customers looking for a web designer, someone who understands that the purpose of a web site is to generate leads and to sell, not just look pretty.
If you’ve used a great web designer, or know of one, that does professional work that not only looks good but has helped increase leads and sales – let me know so I can put them on my preferred list and share it with business owners ready to spend on building or redoing their web sites.
Just add your suggestions by leaving a comment, I’ll review them and put together my short list.

Charlie,
I’m a member of your Insider’s Club and am getting a lot of it. I’m a software developer of over 10 years and have worked for Barnes and Noble, Starwood Hotels, City of New York and comScore 100 companies QuinStreet and ContextWeb. So i confidently know software.
I’m doing market research for a new business model of web/software design. My goal is 1. build effective web solutions where “effective” is as you’ve defined it throughout your writings and 2. make web solutions affordable. Dropping 1-3 thousand on a website is just not acceptable with the way technology has evolved. I know how long it takes to get a customer on the web with a decent site and its tens or at most hundreds of dollars, not thousands.
I’m still a few months away before I’m ready to start taking new customers, but if you’re interested in keeping in touch or hearing more, please feel free to contact me any time.
Thanks again for work and material, you’ve definitely encouraged me to keep going on my dream!
Chris
