use up your invites quickly.
While you shouldn’t hold back on inviting others to connect with you on LinkedIn, the best approach is to get others to approach you, to invite you to link with them, and save most of your invites for the top prospects, rainmakers, potential affiliates and gurus you want to connect with.
That’s the approach I use and while I’ve sent out over 700 LinkedIn invites, I now get 40-50 request from other LinkedIn members every day or close to 300 per week.
