Think Big – Small Business Success Mindset

Have you ever wondered why some people make it and some people don’t?  What is the magic ingredient for small business success?

While there are many explanations, one thing that Fabienne Fredrickson kept repeating during her 3 –day Mindset Retreat is that the vast majority of us do not think BIG enough.. Our dreams TOO SMALL.  We impose limits on our ambitions and goals.

And if you don’t dare to reach for the stars, it goes without saying that you will never touch them.

So the moral of the story is don’t impose limits on your small business goals.

The path to great small business success if deceptively simple:

Small Business Success Step One: You first must identify and acknowledge your ‘brownies’, i.e. all the talents, skills and experiences that make you special and unique.

Small Business Success Step Two: You then need to create a compelling marketing message around your brownies.

Small Business Success Step Three: You share your message with a LOT more people than you had ever imagined possible.

Simply put, if you want to be financially free, you must play much bigger than you do right now.  Instead of dreaming of having 20 clients, isn’t it just as easy to say you want 200? What about 2000? Or 20,000? Or even 200,000?

By thinking big, you will not just become wealthy; you will also be touching many more people with the value of your special ‘brownies’.  In doing so, you will make the world (as well as YOUR world) a better place.

We all fall into the trap of ‘playing too small’.

Why?  One of the biggest things that stop us from dreaming BIG is fear.  Fear can manifest itself in many ways.  We are afraid that we won’t have enough time or money.  We are afraid we are not smart enough or ‘up’ to the task.  We are afraid that we will be rejected, humiliated or ridiculed. We are afraid of disappointment.

We impose our own limits.  When in fact, if we are clear about what we want and back up that clarity with action, we can literally receive whatever we ask for.

So how can YOU start playing a bigger game?
